Some may notice that this blog has had all its posts removed. I haven't used it in quite a long time, and I just came across it and decided to use it again. But my old posts promoted a lot of things that I no longer promote, such as single issue campaigns (SICs), slavery reform, and welfarist (including new-welfarist) groups such as PETA. I spent quite a few years as a PETA supporter, taking part in mainly single issue campaigns and even promoting exploitation of women in PETA's ads and defending their actions of euthanizing healthy, adoptable dogs and cats. Eventually I started hearing from abolitionists and reading their posts and information about why welfarism and SICs are harmful to the animal rights movement and it made so much sense. I became an abolitionist and started promoting veganism as the moral baseline.
So I decided to remove all my previous posts and offer some links to information about why veganism is the LEAST we can do if we respect all sentient beings, and why promoting welfarism and single issue campaigns is very problematic.
